Initiatives In Sustainability : Prithvi Media
Prithvi Media is a platform which has been conceived and created by Laxmi Dhaul to bring together various initiatives in sustainable living.
Some of the activities that Prithvimedia is involved in are :- Education, Education in Sustainable Development, awareness programs in environmental issues, conservation of water , energy and wildlife. Prithvimedia has made videos that educate and drive home messages in an entertaining and creative manner. One of Prithvimedia’s strengths is its in-house studio which till date has produced original animated films that are creative , educational and also entertaining.
Education, Initiatives in Sustainability, Energy & Environment
Prithvimedia has created Chimisworld a DVD ( Hindi and English) that any school teacher in middle school can use during an environmental workshop. Chimisworld also has a bouquet of animated films, quizzes, art work, a rap dance , stories and a pledge. Prithvimedia has partnered with WWF India ( World Wild Life Fund for nature ) in various initiatives in environmental education. WWF India has recently distributed 30,000 DVD’s to all participants of their Wildlife Quiz 2013. Through its videos on water conservation, animal conservation, prevention of power , hazards of excessive radiation fro, transmission towers etc Prithvi media creates content that has an appeal to people of all ages.
